A zesty bread and butter refrigerator pickle. No cooking or canning is required. The sky is the limit with this mix. Cucumbers, Onions, Cauliflower, peppers, toss in any favorite veggie and watch em disappear. Pack makes a gallon of pickled veggies.
Mix pack with 4 cups sugar, 4 cups vinegar and stuff your jar. Be sure to fill as completely as possible.
Let set in the refrigerator for 24 hours and they are ready to eat!
If you like spicy pickles this is perfect. I add green, red, yellow and orange peppers, onions, asparagus and whatever I might have.
I typically am not a fan of sweeter pickles, but OMGOSH! I bought the mix over 2 years ago, and went pickle picking last weekend. Made a gallon of pickles with this mix and it was DELICIOUS. YUM. It does remind me of pickles my grandma used to have in her fridge. Not quite ready to use this with other veggies, but the previous review has piqued my interest. Have to buy more mix!
