Anabelle’s Applesauce



Homemade old fashioned applesauce, just the way Grandma used to make it.

Peel, core and slice 3 lbs of sweet saucing or pie apples. Place apples in a large pan, add 1.5 cups water and contents of packet. Simmer on medium heat until apples are mushy. Mash apples, or blend, until saucy. Sauce may be served warm or cold. Cooking apples will make the house smell amazing.
